Market Place

The Market Place is where you can find all the Widgets that are available to install on your Blotch Smart Frame.

Accessing the Market Place​

To access the Market Place, you need to be logged in to the Console. Once logged in, you will see the Market option in the navigation bar:

Widgets we love​

This section showcases the Widgets that we love and recommend you to install on your Frame to get started. These Widgets are handpicked by the Blotch team and are of high quality.

Newest Widgets​

This section showcases the newest Widgets that have been added to the Market Place. These Widgets are fresh and have been recently added by the community.

Top Rated​

This section showcases the Widgets that have been rated the highest by the community. These Widgets are of high quality and are recommended by the community.

Find Widgets​

You can search for Widgets by typing in the search bar. The search will look for Widgets that match the search query.

Categories​

You can filter the Widgets by categories to find the Widgets that you are interested in. The categories are:

  • Ornamental: Widgets that add aesthetic value to your Frame.
  • Weather: Widgets that provide weather updates and forecasts.
  • News: Widgets that deliver the latest news and headlines.
  • Productivity: Widgets designed to help you stay organized and productive.
  • Smart Home: Widgets that integrate with and control your smart home devices.
  • Social: Widgets that connect you with social media platforms and updates.
  • Gaming: Widgets related to gaming, including game stats and updates.
  • Entertainment: Widgets that provide entertainment content such as videos and music.
  • Business: Widgets that offer business-related information and tools.
  • Health And Fitness: Widgets focused on health, fitness, and wellness.
  • Finance: Widgets that provide financial information and tools.
  • Sport: Widgets that deliver sports news, scores, and updates.
  • DIY: Widgets for do-it-yourself projects and tutorials.
  • Others: Miscellaneous widgets that don't fit into the other categories.
  • None: Widgets that are un-categorized.

Installing a Widget​

To install a Widget, simply click on the Install button on the Widget card. You can then select what Frame you wish to install this to. The Widget will be added to your Frame, of which you can place around in your Page in the Frame Editor.

Creating Widgets​

If a Widget is not available in the Market Place, you can create your own Widget using the Widget Builder. The Widget Builder is a fully integrated tool to facilitate the creation and editing of Widgets. You can find more information on how to create Widgets in the Widget Builder section.

Once a Widget is created, you can publish it to the Market Place for others to use.
